Nail Look of the Week: 4th of July Nails

Happy birthday America (and to my bestie Dana)!  This look comes from a cool tumblr blog called Nailside.  Her nails look impeccable, and I love how she used gold and silver in replace of white. I also love the lightning bolt effect. I stared at these nails wondering how she got the lines so perfect; dug through her blog to find that she uses tape. She also used a nail stamp to do the stars.  I definitely want to try this look but I know I don’t have the patience to wait for the polish to completely dry before using the tape. A tip Jane gives is to wait a day or two and do the lightening design as a update to the look, which I may do, since I tend to get tired of my polish after a couple of days.
