Mani Monday: Queen of the Galaxy
It seems like this year a lot of my favorite brands have released spaced out duochrome shimmers such as Orly Cosmic Fx, MAC Venomous Villians and Zoya Wicked. This is my take on the outer space trend. I used Barielle Shades Grape Escape and loose nail art glitter by LASplash. I first used CND Stickey Base Coat, then two coats of Grape Escape. Then I dipped clear polish (Ginger + Liz top coat) in Onyx nail art glitter and applied to nail- thicker at the tip to try to achieve a gradient effect. I finished it all of with Seche Vite topcoat I never heard of this brand LASplash before, I found it at a Duane Reade store in Brooklyn, NY. Onyx has green, copper and black multi-sized glitter particles. On the display it advised to dip the nail into the glitter or to brush it on. I took the safer route of just brushing it on. The other way seemed like a mess waiting to happen.
